Alive After Five Uptown Tonight!
The summer is getting in full swing and Alive After Five is back this Thursday, June 17th 5:30-8:30 with Chocolate Thunder.
At the Foothills Farmers Market, on the court square in Shelby, it is very interesting to watch Lynn Eskridge display her creativity. Her hand woven baskets are beautiful masterpieces. Lynn also has a stall at Synergy Studios and Gallery, 212-B W. Warren Street in Shelby.
We stopped by Tony’s Chip N’ Sip to try one of his famous “BrainFreeze” slushies. As we pulled through the drive-thru ,we found Stefany already enjoying one of the cold treats, while co-worker Tiffany was worrying about Stefany’s upcoming head rush. Oh well, with this heat wave having, a Tony’s slushie is a great way to chill!
The 4-H Club is truly about Head, Heart, Hands and Health and they’re a very important youth organization. Give the Cleveland County 4-H a call and enroll your son or daughter for their youth development program. What they learn- they will cherish a lifetime!
