The retirees fished Lake Norman last week with some pretty good catches. David O’Shields and JR Henry won with 9.95. They also had big bass of the day with a 2.50 largemouth. James Haynes and Tommy Wess took second, with 7.70 and Ronnie Humphries getting third with 7.55. This week they head back to Lake Wylie.
Welsey Piper shot this nice gobbler, with a 12 gauge shotgun, in Gaffney, SC during his very first hunting trip. Welsey is an eleven-year-old student at No.3 School.

The annual Cleveland-Rutherford Kidney Association concert, once again, brought out hundreds on Saturday, April 14.
