National Farm-City Week is November 16th-22nd

Piecemakers Quilt Guild
Piecemakers Quilt Guild meets the first Wednesday of each month from 10:00am -12:00pm at the Lincoln County Senior Center, Lincoln Campus of Gaston College, 511 Aspen Street, Lincolnton, in room 319. We are here to teach and encourage those interested in the art of quilting.
The staff at Hospice Cleveland County recently joined with the State Employees Credit Union (SECU) to help collect items for their annual “Support the Troops” project. Boxes were placed throughout the Administration Building the entire month of October with a Wish List of items attached from SECU.
The City of Kings Mountain hosted their annual Veteran’s Day Observance on Monday, November 12.
A Veterans Day Observance was held on Sunday, November 11, on the court square Uptown Shelby. Local citizens in the U.S. Armed Forces were recognized and honored. Wreath laying, prayers, and remembrances were offered. Pictured is the Bethel Baptist Youth Choir singing the National Anthem.
