The Sankofa African American Museum on Wheels is coming to Cleveland Community College on February 25, from 11 am – 4 pm and February 26, 9 am – 2 pm.
Eleven seniors enrolled in Automotive Advanced Studies completed a twelve week internship at local automotive businesses. Students spent a two week rotation at NAPA, Keeter Ford, Monroe Tires, Shelby Transmission, Humphries Automotive, and Carter Chevrolet.

Congratulations goes to Sam Davis, the winner of our $100 Super Bowl Contest. Sam picked the Baltimore Ravens to win the game and correctly guessed the combined teams’ final score of 65 points.
If light and darkness did mix you could go into Heaven with sin in you. The Heavenly Father says no sin will come into heaven. Darkness is God’s word for sin. A preacher from Cherryville was in the mountains one Sunday afternoon visiting, and he came across some people doing everyday work.
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal” (Matt. 6 19-20).
I’m still not sure about this whole global warming thing, but I do know that the winters where I live are not as cold and snowy as they used to be. I can remember the days when you could always count on hunting in the snow on Thanksgiving Day.
