   Garner-Webb University professors and students are volunteering their skills to help the community by offering a free income tax preparation service. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program will be offered on Tuesdays, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hamrick Hall which is located on the Gardner-Webb University campus.

The Joe and Sophia Goforth playground at the Boys & Girls Club is almost complete.  This past Saturday morning,  March 2, the snow shower slowed things down but the volunteers got the project to 80% completion by late afternoon.
