Online quilting sensation Leah Day will be a guest lecturer at Foothills Quilt Fest 2013 on Saturday, October 12, at 11 a.m., at the LeGrand Center in Shelby, NC. Since I missed last week, I have two reports from both Kosa and Moss Lake. Week before last, the Kosa bunch were on Lake Wylie. John Black and Roger McNeely brought in 11.1 and took first place. They also had big bass of the day with a 3.0 largemouth. David O’Shields and Doug Sparrow had 8.1 and were second with Mack Wyatt and Ken Johnson getting third with 4.8.
