Bruce Camp's Local Fishing Report Oct 5, 2017

The retirees have fished three events since last report. One on Lake Hickory, Lake Norman and Lake Wylie. On Lake Hickory, Little Earl (age 70) and John Proctor picked up the win with 12.78, they anchored this with a 4.75 large mouth, which took big bass of the day. Doug Sparrow and David O'Shields had 8.70 to claim second and in third was Darrell Hager and Roger Neal with 7.24.
On Lake Norman, Darrell Hager fished solo and grabbed the win with 9.90. He also had big bass of the day with a 2.78 large mouth. JR Garland and Rick Maires had 8.77 to take second, while Big John and Little Earl Proctor settled in third with 8.21.
On Lake Wylie it was Darrell Hager, again fishing solo, bringing in 4.87. John Black and Fred Wright had 3.64 to get second and third went to Rick LaMountain with 3.14. Big bass was a 2.13 large mouth brought in by John Black and Fred Wright.
The Cleveland County Bass Club fished Lake Rhodhiss last week. Roger Beaver took the win with 14.38 and had big bass with a 4.08 large mouth. Jimmy Melton was second with 5.70, followed by Robbie Rush with 5.62. Charlie Canipe brought in 4.84 to claim fourth and fifth with 1.36 was RC.
There have also been three events on Miss Lake since Arnold's last check in. David Hendrick and Matt Arey grabbed the win with 12.74 and had big bass with a 3.77. Arnold Ledford and Larry Denton had 5.08 to settle in second, while third, with 3.07, was Randall and Adam Wright.
The following week it was David Hendrick and Bryan Thrift getting the win with 12.26. JR Garland and Ronnie Beason had 9.39 to claim second, while Ken Lafayette and Ron Holland had 7.59 to take third. Big bass was a 3.44 large mouth brought in by Lafayette and Holland.
Last week it was David Hendrick and Bryan Thrift once again with 13.44. Allen Crotts and Austin McDaniel had 10.69 and was second. Wendell Leonard and Tyler Dover settled in third with 9.84, they also had big bass with a 3.77 large mouth.
