Donald Edward “Donnie” Roper, Jr., age 48. a resident of Long Branch Rd., Grover, died June 22, 2012 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. He was a native of Cleveland County, son of the late Carolyn Whetstine Roper. He was self- employed in the construction industry and of the Baptist faith. He was a loving and devoted son, father and grandfather who was loved by his family.
