Elizabeth Ann Hubbard Glenn, 84, of Shelby, passed away Saturday August 25,
2018 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center.
Born in Cleveland County, on April 30, 1934, she was a daughter of Eugene
Kenneth Hubbard and Vernie Mae Morrison Hubbard. She was retired from
Hoechst Celanese and a member of Polkville Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Franklin
Hoover Glenn; son, Franklin Lee Glenn; and three brothers, Ed Hubbard, John
Hubbard, and Donald Hubbard and one sister, Mary Lou Lail.
She is survived by two sons, John Evans Glenn of Casar and David Glenn and
wife, Debbie of New House; three daughters, Patricia Ann Ross of Shelby,
Mary Elizabeth Bridges and husband, Kenneth of Charlotte and Carolyn Sue
McNeilly and husband, Ralph of Polkville; brother, Kenneth Hubbard; three
sisters, Reba Mode of Cleveland County and Gail McSwain of Crouse; twelve
grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Will Davis officiating.
The burial will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
