Historic houses open at Kings Mountain Historical Museum

Houses tell us a lot about the people who lived in them and how they lived. We have two houses from the past behind the museum and this month we will have them open for you to explore! These houses were not only lived in by their owners, but also built by their owners. While the families have different stories, they both broke new ground and started their lives in a new and developing places. You are not going to want to miss the chance to see inside of their lives!
There are several opportunities for you to step into the past: every Saturday in July from 10am-4pm, but also Wednesday July 18th from 10am -1pm, as we partner with Mauney Memorial Library for their Summer Reading Program. There will be different activities, crafts and games--fun for the whole family! We hope to see you there!
Kings Mountain Historical Museum is located at 100 East Mountain Street, Kings Mountain, NC.
