Manuel O. Ross
Manuel O. Ross, age 87 resident of Kings Mountain, NC went to be with his Lord on October 25, 2015 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby, NC. He was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late John Landrum and Lonnie Lovelace Ross. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Jerry Stroupe Ross; brothers, William "Bill" O. Ross, Maynard A. Ross, and Garvis Joe Ross, Sr. Manuel graduated from Bowman Gray School of Radiology and was retired from Cleveland Regional Medical Center after 35 years of service. He was an active member of El Bethel United Methodist Church, Kings Mtn. NC where he served as a Certified Lay Speaker and the Senior Adult Sunday School Teacher. He also served as Past President of the United Methodist Men, Administrative Council and served on the Building and Relocation Committee for the Gastonia District of the United Methodist Church. He served on the Cleveland County Domiciliary Advisory Board and was President of the Retired Employees of Cleveland Regional Medical Center. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Daughters: Angela R. Morton and husband Dr. Richard Morton, Cleveland, OH
Suzanne R. Wall and husband Allen, Shelby, NC
4 Grandchildren: Michael Wall, Emily Boller and husband Nick, Matthew Morton and wife Lindsay, Adam Wall and wife Jennifer.
4 Great Grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICE: El Bethel United Methodist Church, Friday, October 30, 2015 2:00 P.M. Rev. Julie Roberts and Rev. Bruce Hobson, officiating.
VISITATION: 6:30 - 8:30 P.M. Thursday evening, October 29, 2015 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
